So I'll just put this out there... I don't celebrate Easter.
(I do have to go visit family members who DO celebrate it however).
Don't get me wrong, I love the springtime decor that seems to pop up in every single shop, market and pub, but being that I'm not of the religion in which it is commemorating I try not to involve myself in it. Which is quite difficult with a religious set of grandparents (they actually thought I was catholic for a good 10 years when I had no faith in God what so ever).
Now that that's out the way, I hope you all enjoy your day no matter how you choose to spend it!
Anyways off of the touchy topic that surround religion, I'm currently looking over to the left of my screen where all the old themes of my journals sit, from when I had a premium account... I miss those days. XD
Oh well, I turn 18 in 2 months and I'm a tad anxious, I mean I'll be classed as an 'adult'. Something about being an official adult in the public eye just seems unsettling, I've been a 'child' for 17 years... and suddenly I'm supposed to wake up on the 24th of May and BOOM I'm all grown up? No... I'm still a kid, and like everyone, I think I'll be a kid forever *hugs a copy of Peter Pan and shouts "take me to neverland"*.
No but in all seriousness, I'm excited, because I also leave my second year of college on my birthday! Then... university (hopefully). I would then be moving out of my home and into a house of students, I hope we all get on... (future Mello read this and remember how much you wanted to get along with them).
Also I got a new job! I work in a childrens play center on the weekends, (not my dream job...but there could be worse).
I basically work behind the til, wait tables, clear up when people leave and run things like parties and story time for the kids. Anyways I've only done about 15 hours there so far... so I'll let you guys know how that goes in the future.
OH! And another note... I met Deliah Smith yesterday! Her and her football team were at the pub my dad runs, and I was on the extra staff because it was so busy. Anyways after the speech for the team, she left and my dad asked for a picture in front of the pub with her, being the lovely woman she is she agreed, and also asked if I would like to be in the picture! (I need to get a copy of that). So now I can say that I've met a british treasure! Next...Stephen Fry! (I wish).
So I've kinda rambled on long enough I think...I'm going to go back to writing some more character profiles and then go and have some Easter-mas lunch with my family. See ya later people!
